Can adoption be good for my baby and for me?

You can plan for your baby’s future by selecting a stable, loving family to care for your baby. After birth, you can see your baby, and spend time with your baby. If you so choose, you may be able to get updates on your child’s life while you continue your education or career goals. Finally, you can be proud that you chose life for your baby.

Can I choose a family for my baby?

Yes! We will discuss our waiting families with you. You will be placing your child with an approved family of your choice. They will have undergone an extensive evaluation process and you can be assured they are both financially and emotionally equipped to provide for your child Our adoptive couples come from a variety of backgrounds and they have been thoroughly screened and approved.

How can I be sure my child will be well cared for?

Adoptive families approved by Community Services must meet very demanding standards. Potential adoptive parents are evaluated on a number of issues including stability of relationships, readiness for parenting, emotional maturity, and financial status to name a few.

Do I need an attorney or do I pay an agency to assist me with adoption?

An independent attorney will be provided to represent you at no cost to you.
